Boban, a modern Vietnamese sandwich and coffee concept, is opening its second location in Garden Grove, it confirmed exclusively to What Now OC. The eatery will be welcoming guests at 10911 Westminster Ave., in a dual-business setup with a new sister concept Pho OneV.
The eateries are expected to welcome guests around mid-to-late September, founder Elaine Nguyen tells the publication. They will share a 4,600-square-foot facility with one entrance, but be separate within the space.
This highly anticipated location will be the second Boban store to open, following the brand’s debut in Cypress in May, which What Now OC covered. Its signature offering is the Vietnamese bánh mì, alongside rice bowls and a beverage menu that includes Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, matcha lattes, and fruit-infused drinks.
“Boban is more than just a restaurant-it’s a celebration of Vietnamese flavors, culture, and innovation,” said Nguyen. “We’re excited to share our passion with the Garden Grove community and beyond.”
Nguyen is a veteran restaurateur known for successful OC staples like Dalat Bistro, Papaya Thai, and Royal Restaurant & Banquet. She partnered with OneV Capital Partners, a strategic F&B and real estate growth firm, to fuel national and international expansion through a hybrid of corporate-owned locations and franchising.
